Expect a sizeable police presence at today's Kings rally in downtown Sacramento. Chief Sam Somers says he expects the largest crowd ever in Cesar Chavez Park-- around 8,000 people. However, he says he doesn't expect any trouble, calling this a "lovefest" with the Kings.

Still, officers will work with Kings security to make sure everything remains under control. The chief adds that the city won't pay anything extra for the increased police presence at the rally. He says the NBA is chipping in financially.
