Catholic leaders in Pittsburgh are none too pleased over a recent portrayal of the Pope at a Carnegie Mellon University parade. During the annual Downhill Derby Parade, a female student dressed up as the Pope, but was naked from the waist down. Catholic Diocese of Pittsburgh officials call the stunt disgraceful, saying it disrespects an important religious symbol. Some Carnegie Mellon students are defending the woman, saying her costume was nothing more than freedom of expression.
