A career in politics doesn't interest most people, according to a recent survey. They'd rather do other things with their lives.
People are increasingly turned off by politics in America. That's what pollsters found in the USA TODAY/Bipartisan Policy Center survey.
A full two-thirds of the people surveyed said government can't solves the country's problems, so they would rather get involved in volunteer organizations and charities as better ways to make positive changes.
Those younger than 30 are particularly against politics. They are much less likely than their parents to say participating in politics is an important in their lives.
