An investigation is underway into a school bus crash in Southern California that has left over a dozen people injured. CHP officials say the bus filled with kids crashed into a tree near Anaheim Hills Golf Course this afternoon. 

Firefighters had to cut into the bus to remove the driver, who became trapped in the vehicle. 

The driver and two students were taken to the hospital in critical condition. Ten other people reported having non-life-threatening injuries.  
It's still unclear what caused the bus to leave the roadway.

There are unconfirmed reports that nine children were hurt in the crash.
