Berkeley's Cesar Chavez Park has a gopher and squirrel problem and the city is trying to find a way to get rid of them. City officials have hired a pest control company to take care of the problem. It's a major issue because the gophers and squirrels burrow into a landfill which holds around one-point-nine million tons of waste. The burrowing ultimately causes toxins to leach into the Bay.
