The Twin Rivers Unified School District trustee accused of falsifying his paternity test and illegally receiving loans and gifts made his first court appearance today.

Cortez Quinn did not enter a plea in his arraignment, and will return to Superior Court for a hearing January 7th.

Quinn faces multiple felony counts and five misdemeanors, and if convicted, could be looking at more than 12 years in prison.

He's taking a 90-day leave of absence from his trustee position.
