The Folsom Police Department has arrested four juveniles for a string of vandalism that lasted several weeks.
Vandals hit seven city parks with 12 separate incidents, Officer Andrew Bates said.
"It included some spray painting of vulgar and some racist graffiti as well as some vulgar pictures," he said.
And it also included the destruction of public bathrooms.
"Those juveniles will likely face criminal charges and the city will also be asking for restitution for the damage," he said.
The cost of the damage is still being calculated but is expected to be thousands of dollars.
The juveniles were cited and released back to their parents.
