SACRAMENTO -- It's going to be a big week in Sacramento as conventioneers pour in from all over the state.

Mike Testa with the Sacramento Convention & Visitors Bureau says the big League of California Cities gathering at the Sacramento Convention Center is a point of pride for Sacramento.

"We are very privileged city managers, mayors and administrators from across the state of California," Testa said.

Forget trying to find a hotel room.

"They are utilizing eight different hotels and consuming 1,800 hotel rooms across the city," Testa said.

Testa predicts the conference will bring in over a million dollars for local economy.
