"I write about it a lot in the magazine, we talk about decluttering, and I realized -- I need to declutter my own life," Oprah Winfrey said.
And that's why Oprah is having a yard sale tomorrow at the polo grounds in Santa Barbara.
"Just like everybody, you start accumulating stuff and accumulating stuff. I've been accumulating things since, uh, 1985. It's just too much stuff!" she said.
Oprah talked to "CBS This Morning." She plans to remodel her mansion in nearby Montecito to better reflect her true style.
Fans have had the chance to peruse what's for sale on the website for Kaminski Auctions. The items range from a Victorian-style doll carriage starting at $100 to an 18th Century bureau valued at about $50,000.
There's also a fleet of Jetson electric bikes tagged at about a-thousand dollars each and a photo of Oprah with NBA legend Michael Jordan. Proceeds from the sale will go to the Oprah Winfrey Leadership Academy Foundation College Fund.
