The Wall That Heals, a half-scale replica of the Vietnam Veteran's Memorial in Washington, D.C., is coming to Sacramento.

It will be at the state Capitol through Sunday and will be open to the public.

"This is an opportunity for millions of Americans, as it tours the country, to be able to pay all due respect," Assembyman Jim Frazier said.

Frazier led the efforts to bring the wall to our area, and says it's a very personal experience for former vets and others.

"They say it works both ways, with people that have a comfort zone that they feel better in their own hometown being able to pay respect," he said.

Again the half-scale replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial will be at the State Capitol from today through Sunday and will be open to the public.
