60 Year Old Woman Coughs On A Toddler

Mireya Mora and her one year old son were in line at a Yogurtland restaurant in San Jose, where a woman in her 60's removed her mask and coughed on the toddler in his stroller. The incident ook place after a verbal altercation between the two women. The older woman was in line in front of Mora and her son. According to allegations, Mora was not maintaining proper social distancing, which prompted the suspect to turn around, remove her mask and cough on the child 2-3 times. Mora believes the incident to be racially motivated:

"I believe this woman may be racist because the family in front of her is white. Me and my grandma are Hispanic and she started telling me about my distance and harassing me and my son once I started speaking Spanish to my grandma."

The boy had a slight fever after the incident, but seems to be doing ok. The family is hoping he doesn’t contract coronavirus.

The San Jose Police Department is in the process of identifying the woman who coughed on the boy. She is described as: white female in her 60s, medium build, wearing a gray bandana, glasses, long sleeve shirt with gray vertical lines, white dress pants, and patterned tennis shoes.
