Student Suspended After Posting Photo Of Crowded Hall

A Georgia student at North County Paulding County High School posted a photo showing the crowded halls of the school where many students shoulder to shoulder, most not wearing masks. The photo went viral as most of the country debates whether to re-open schools or not. The student's mother reports that she has been suspended as a result of the viral photo and video.

Another student shared the audio (listen above) from the morning announcements over the PA from the school's Principal, Gabe Carmona:

"Anything that's going on social media that is negative in our light... There will be consequences for both students or anyone who sends out those pictures, so be careful."

Has this gone too far? Should students be sharing photos like these? Was suspending the student over-reaching?
